About my work

As a Solicitor, Lee undertakes all manner of family law work including divorce cases and disputes between unmarried parties, but has a particular interest in family law cases involving matrimonial finance and property, as well as parental disputes regarding children.

Lee always ensures his client’s aims are his priority, whilst formulating a clear, pragmatic and focused strategy. When dealing with problems, he has been described as capable of “separating the wood from the trees ” and able to think “out of the box”.

In his primary role as a solicitor, Lee seeks to strike a balance; listening to his clients, managing their expectations and answering their concerns in a sensitive manner, whilst ensuring they have a clear, informed understanding of the law underpinning their case, the procedures that will be involved, and a realistic idea of the likely outcome.

Lee also mediates all types of family disputes, mediation now being a compulsory form of non-court dispute resolution which must be undertaken before court proceedings can be issued.

Whether solicitor or mediator, Lee appreciates the unique, emotive nature of family work, and it’s far reaching and potentially life changing consequences for his clients. His philosophy is that every family breakdown has a fair solution, which should be sought swiftly with the minimum of anxiety, expense and time.
