Sara Lawson - Solicitor
Sara is a solicitor in our Commercial Business Team specialising in Commercial Property. Sara has a wide experience of commercial property transactions, from acting for developers in acquiring land subject to planning consent, to extensive landlord and tenant work, to dealing with agricultural land. Sara has acted for large portfolio clients dealing with all the management issues of letting a whole shopping centre, and regularly acts for all kinds of commercial tenants. Her extensive experience also includes acting for public and police authorities, colleges and charities. Sara has experience in the acquisition and disposal of large residential development sites and has also acted for national banks on refinancing commercial properties. Sara has conducted a wealth of small business sales and purchases from pubs to hairdressers and undertaken corporate support work on large corporate transactions.
Sara qualified in 2002 after completing her training in Northampton, and then practised in the Milton Keynes area, before joining us from Hewitsons Solicitors. In 2008 Sara obtained a LLM Masters Degree in Advanced Legal Practice in Commercial Property.
When she is not revising leases she can be found at home entertaining dinner guests or out walking. Sara is a keen traveller of the world and has been known to say "sÌ per favour" to a glass or two of Italian wine. Sara retains her bubbly personality by socialising and living life with a smile.
